Typical cleaning rates

Regular domestic cleaning commonly costs around £18–£35 per cleaner per hour. Deep cleans, specialist equipment, short-notice work and London or other high-cost locations may be higher.

End-of-tenancy and one-off cleans are often quoted as a fixed price based on property size and condition.

What should a quote include?

Confirm the following before booking:

  • Number of cleaners and expected duration
  • Whether products and equipment are supplied
  • Oven, carpet, upholstery and window cleaning exclusions
  • Parking or congestion charges
  • Cancellation and re-clean policies

Prepare an accurate brief

State the property size, number of bathrooms, current condition, pets and priority areas. Photographs can help avoid a quote based on the wrong level of work.

Prices are broad UK planning estimates, not quotations. Actual charges vary by location, urgency, scope, access, materials and provider. Always review the confirmed price and terms before work starts.
